Wishing a festive opening night to the brilliant CATHERINE KINSELLA and all in Northern Broadsides aptly titled CHRISTMAS BROADSIDES for a short pre-Christmas run 13 – 15 December at the Viaduct Theatre, Halifax.
Join Ripponden-based Folk singer and multi-instrumentalist Alice Jones for a celebration of Christmas with a Northern Broadsides twist.
Folk singer Alice is arranging the musical programme alongside two asylum seekers, Amir and Kamaran, two very talented musicians from Iran, This Christmas concert will be a unique blend of broadside ballad, sing-a-long, Iranian classical music and storytelling which should capture a spirit of celebration, whilst also providing an opportunity for us all to reflect on the multiplicity of experiences of people living in Halifax this Christmas.
Enjoy traditional festive songs and stories based on Broadsides Ballads all performed live in the atmospheric underground Viaduct Theatre, Dean Clough.
