Wishing a fantastic opening night to MATT CONNOR, BARBARA HOCKADAY & LAURYN REDDING in OH WHAT A LOVELY WAR at Oldham Coliseum playing 8 – 30 September.
Pack up your troubles with Joan Littlewood’s critically acclaimed satirical First World War musical in the year Britain remembers the Passchendaele campaign of 1917.
Oh What A Lovely War, performed as an end of pier show by a troupe of Pierrot entertainers, relives the horror and dark humour of the First World War through song, dance and stunning visuals.
Performed by a talented ensemble of actor-musicians, Oh What A Lovely War features songs from the First World War including: It’s A Long Way To Tipperary, Pack Up Your Troubles in Your Old Kit-Bag, Goodbye-ee, And When They Ask Us and Keep The Home Fires Burning.
Oh What A Lovely War is deeply moving, taking us through one of the most painful times in our history; it resonates with the pity of war and the impact of war on us all.
