Directed by LORNA LAIDLAW and with SAMANTHA YETUNDE playing Claudette Colvin, ROSA PARKS: THE HIDDEN JOURNEY is a thought-provoking exploration of the civil rights movement performed by a community cast. Over 60 years on from her act of defiance on the Montgomery bus, the play tells the tale of Rosa’s work with rape victims before she became a globally renowned civil right activist, challenging segregation and injustice. Rosa Parks: The Hidden Journey plays at the Mac Birmingham on the 1st and 2nd of October.
