Opening tonight: JOHN BRANWELL in HAMLET at Bolton Octagon playing 15th February – 10 March.
Trust, loyalty, revenge and one man’s struggle to control his destiny…
Hamlet returns from his life studying abroad to find his home utterly changed and his place in the world uncertain.
His father dead and his mother remarried to his uncle, who is now King. Torn apart with grief and suspicion, Hamlet must decide on what to do. Should he act upon what he suspects and take revenge or accept the way things are?
As we find ourselves in an increasingly uncertain world, Shakespeare’s great tragedy resonates as never before in this startling new production.
