Opening tonight, the 10th of June, SIMEON TRUBY in THE LADYKILLERS at Oldham Coliseum.
Written by Graham Linehan (of Father Ted fame), The Ladykillers is a dark comedy about a dear little old lady pitted against a ruthless gang of criminals, inspired by the classic Ealing film.
Posing as amateur musicians in a string quartet, Professor Marcus and his gang rent rooms in the topsy-turvy house of unsuspecting landlady Mrs Louisa Alexandra Wilberforce.
The villains plot to involve her unknowingly in the robbery of the century at King’s Cross Station but the clever Mrs W solves the crime and Professor Marcus comes up with the ultimate solution to keep the lavender scented old lady quiet. Once and for all.
With only her parrot General Gordon to protect her, Mrs W finds herself alone with five desperate men. But who will finally face the music?
Ladykillers runs until the 7th of July.
